The Philokalia, an anthology on prayer and life in Christ, is one of the most important books on Christian spiritual life. A multi-volume text from Mt Athos in the late 1700s, it contains monumental spiritual writings from the fourth to the fifteenth century. This reading group will study the first volume of the Philokalia.
