2020 - Bp THOMAS' Visitation & Ordination of Dn. David Hyatt

The weekend of January 10-13th, His Grace Bishop THOMAS (Joseph) made his annual visitation to St. Philip.  During the weekend Sayidna blessed the St. Nicholas House, met with the Men's Fellowship and the Women of St. Mariamne, encouraged the Catechumen Class and the Altar Boys, and met with area clergy.  On Sunday, January 12th, His Grace tonsured two men as Readers (Rdr. John (Jordan) Gamble and Rdr. Nicholas Morelli), ordained two Subdeacons (Sdn. Justin Gohl and Sdn. Luke (Jeff) Carpenter) and ordained Sdn. David Hyatt to the Holy Diaconate.  Additionally, we commemorated the 1-year memorial of Rdr. Maxim (Nagib) Khalifa and baby Cecilia Jekel was churched.  It was a very full and blessed visit with Sayidna!  May God grant Him many years!

If you have any photos that you would like to include in the photo gallery of this weekend, please contact Dn. David Hyatt at dhyatt@st-philip.net.
